I've referred patients to Dr. Iero for a number of years now. It's really important to me that my patients have a seamless transition from my office to Dr. Iero's office, and then back. There has to be good communication, and the patient has to understand that the doctors involved know what's going on at all times. When a patient returns to my office, I always ask, "How did they treat you over at Dr. Iero's office?" and without exception, they say, "Oh, it went very well. He's very nice." So it's important to me that when I ask a patient to see a specialist that they are taken care of and that they can receive the kind of care that they're accustomed to getting in my own office, and they do that every time. They come back to my practice happy for the referral and ready to press on with their treatment.--Dr. Nauert
